I’ve decided on my next project, the results of which will very likely end up on youtube and available for download via rapidshare; I’m going to document the process of building a linux based blender machine from scratch, installing the software, collecting the raw materials, and creating a completly original animated sequence. Watch this space… 
Thought: With Android and Chrome OS on the horizon, who would now doubt the place of Linux as a major player in the near future of computing?
Not really day one, but hey…
So here we go. My current goal is to try to figure out why the network settings in my experimental Fedora 10 computer would not stick. No matter how many times I set the network cards to “manual” and laid out the settings, each restart would see them revert to “Auto”. I ended up having to revert back to Fedora Core 5, same hardware, in which the settings stayed where they were just fine.
